Limb Movement Terms Animated in 3D
Terms like these are easy to read and surprisingly easy to muddle, so we've added a new scene called Limb Movement to our Language of Anatomy module. 🦴 Instead of trying to picture a definition, you can watch the movement happen on a 3D limb.
Animations for each movement term
In the Limb Movement scene you can play animations that demonstrate what the different anatomical terms mean. These are the very common terms used to describe movement of the limbs, and we've covered them for the forelimbs too, so you can see each one in action rather than memorising a list.
A walkthrough that goes into more detail
We've taken it one step further and built a walkthrough for the scene. It takes you through each step, gives you information as you go and explores the terms in more detail, which makes it a nice way to consolidate the vocabulary before you meet it in lectures, clinical notes or exam questions.
Where to find it
Open the Language of Anatomy module and choose Limb Movement, the second scene. We hope you find it useful, and as always we'd love to hear what you think.
