We've just released the Canine Heart Live Section. ❤️ We've long had our canine echo simulator, which mimics probe movement to create sections through the heart. This is an even more direct way to understand the interior anatomy of the heart.

Drag a plane through the heart

Grab the plane with its manipulation gizmo and move it through the heart, and you'll see the section through the anatomy at that position. You can also rotate the plane for a different view, so you can section the heart in any plane you like. We've used an updated version of the heart that includes the heart valves, so you'll see them come through as you explore.

Made for budding echocardiographers

It's very useful from an anatomy point of view, and especially for ultrasonographers, because the section is essentially the view you get from an ultrasound probe when you echo. This is a first version, and we plan to do quite a few more things with this model, particularly from an echo point of view.
