Meet the Superproject: All Our 3D Anatomy in One Place
We were really thrilled to bring you our anatomical Superproject. Our 3D content used to be spread across about 25 or 26 different projects; now it all lives together in a single project. 🎉 A note from the video description: this video is now outdated in places, as the content and interface have moved on since, but the idea behind the Superproject is still how we organise things.
One nested menu for every species
Open the top-left menu and you can navigate to any of our 3D content through a nested menu system. Want the veins of the foal? Head into the foal section, click the veins, and you're taken straight there. Before, you'd have had to close the musculature project and go and find the vasculature project.
Faster to get where you want to go
With all the species under one roof, you can hop from, say, the foal to the distal limb of the horse and its ligaments in a couple of clicks, without closing and opening lots of separate 3D projects. It's also good news behind the scenes, because it means we can update and improve the content much faster.
Two important things to note
- Please use Firefox or Chrome to run the content, as it won't run well on other browsers.
- At launch we left the older 3D projects available for a while, but only the Superproject receives updates, and we said we'd be removing the old projects in the future. So the Superproject is the place to be.
Where to find it
On VIN, the Superproject sits on the Learn Anatomy in 3D page in its own new section, and on IVALA Learn it has a section of its own too. As always, we'd love your feedback, either through the feedback form inside the 3D content or by email.
