The core regions of the kidney

The kidney has different structures and regions, such as the capsule, cortex and medulla, among others. Knowing where they are is important from both an anatomy and a physiology perspective, and it's the foundation for making sense of what you see on renal ultrasound or at post mortem. Hopefully this content is a little part of taking you along that journey.
