Canine Surface Anatomy in 3D: The Regions of the Dog

Following on from the horse and the bovine, we've added the surface anatomy of the canine. 🐕 It's relatively simple content that lets you select the major surface regions and landmarks of the dog.

Basic, but the basis for everything else

These regions provide a solid foundation for the rest of your anatomy training, and they're the language you'll use when describing where a lump, wound or painful area is. We hope it's useful both for lecturers who want to describe things from the very basics and for students finding their way around the essentials of canine anatomy. 🧑🏼‍🎓 The content is also available as an independent flashcard deck.

Where to find it

It's in the all-in-one 3D Anatomy Viewer on IVALA Learn. On VIN, it's under anatomy interactive content in the Student Center, or Library > Learn Anatomy in 3D.
