Equine Surface Anatomy in 3D: Speak Your Clients' Language
Two weeks after the bovine, we're doing the same for the horse: the surface anatomy of the equine. 🐴 It's a relatively simple model, but the content it covers is important.
Layman terms for better conversations
When you're talking with horse owners, they'll often use terms that aren't the clinical terms you'd use as a veterinarian, such as the haunch. Understanding these layman terms is really important for you and for the client, so that you have a good, clear conversation. This content covers all the major surface anatomy of the horse with a focus on those everyday terms. We also hope it's a useful aid for lecturers, for example when describing the clinical examination or explaining common conditions. If you missed it, here's our bovine surface anatomy.
Where to find it
On IVALA Learn, you'll find it in the 3D Anatomy Viewer project. On VIN, students will find it most easily in the Student Center, and it's also under Multimedia or Learn Anatomy in 3D.
