Five Upgrades to Our 3D Anatomy Viewer
We've updated all of our projects. As well as fixing a tonne of small bugs and minor annoyances, we've added some new things to make studying in 3D smoother. ✨ Here's the rundown.
On-hover highlight
When you hover over an anatomical landmark you can interact with, your cursor changes to a hand and the object gets a white highlight, so you know straight away that it's selectable.
Auto-focus mode
Turn on auto-focus and whatever you select becomes the centre of focus. Before, once you were off-centre it could be tricky to focus on the thing you were trying to look at; now navigating around the scene is much easier.
Isolate mode
Want to see a structure on its own? Select it and either click the isolate button or press the I key, and everything else in the scene is hidden. Press I again or use show all to bring everything back.
Feedback form inside the content
You can now send us feedback directly through a form in the content: add your name, email address and message, and it comes straight to us. We'll get back to you with our response. We really do want to hear it, good or bad. 😄
Tell us when your typed answer should count
In the typing test, if an answer you enter is marked wrong but you think it's right, you can flag that your answer should be accepted. That prompts us to check whether we need to add another option for that structure, and if we agree with you, we'll add it.
Faster loading
The video description also notes faster loading times, thanks to optimisation within the content. We're looking forward to bringing you plenty more over the coming months.
