Key Structures of the Canine Brain in 3D
A quick update: we've added the key structures of the brain to our canine neurology content. 🧠 These are the structures that matter from a clinical neuroanatomy point of view.
What's included
You'll find structures such as the cranial nerves and the brainstem, and you can see how they relate to other areas like the forebrain and the cerebellum. We've even included the brain ventricles, so you can see how they sit in relation to the other key structures of the brain.
Why it matters for neurolocalisation
Knowing where these structures are is especially important when it comes to neurolocalisation based on your neuro exam. It also helps you understand how a single lesion can affect several structures that lie close to one another anatomically, which is often the key to making sense of a patient with a mix of neurological signs.
Test yourself too
You can do all the normal things in the scene, and of course you can use our testing systems here as well to check what you've learned.
Tell us what you think
Have some fun with it and let us know what you think.
