Canine Hindlimb Vasculature in 3D, With Latin Terminology
We've updated our limb vasculature content to include the arteries and veins of the canine hindlimb. 🐕 So the hindlimb has now joined the forelimb.
Arteries and veins of the hindlimb
You can open the scenes from the top left menu: one with the arteries of the hindlimb and one with the veins. Interact with them in the normal way to get more information about each vessel.
Switch between clinical and Latin terms
You'll also notice a new option in the right menu to switch between clinical terminology and the Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria (NAV), the Latin terminology. It's handy when your lecture notes use one and your textbook uses the other, and it helps you recognise both when you meet them in the literature.
