Bovine Proximal Tibia in 3D, Scanned for Stifle Anatomy
We're back with some new 3D content: a scan of the proximal tibia of a cow. 🐄 Our anatomists tell us it's extremely similar to that of the horse, so it's useful whichever species you're focusing on.
Understanding the stifle ligaments
This scan is especially useful for understanding the ligaments of the stifle joint. From a clinical point of view, it helps you make sense of the structures you see when performing arthroscopies, so it's well worth a look if you plan to do arthroscopy or surgery of the area.
How it works
Because it's a scan, you can't hide or show different parts of the content. You can, however, select different anatomy, and it highlights on the surface of the model. We hope you enjoy using it!
