Vestibular and Cerebellar Disease Flashcards With Case Videos

Conditions affecting the vestibular system and the cerebellum are varied, common, and can carry very different prognoses. Being able to recognise, for instance, the difference between peripheral and central disease on a neuro exam is critical for a concise differentials list and for advising an owner with confidence. 🐕

Real case videos

This deck focuses on the different presentations of vestibular and cerebellar disease and talks you through how you might approach them. In the video, we meet a 5-month-old female Rottweiler who has shown vestibular signs since she was adopted at 9 weeks. You watch her case videos and are asked what you can say about her eye movements, and later cards discuss what's most likely and what else to consider if the signs are worsening.

Each case comes from a real patient, and if you're a VIN member you can follow the link to the full discussion surrounding the case. All of it is aimed at helping you feel more confident recognising these conditions in practice.
